Fylde Rural Task Force & Op Elemental

Fylde Rural Task Force have been out and about across the rural communities as part of Op Elemental targeting key rural crime issues. 

Officers are conducting high‑visibility patrols across farmland, rural roads and isolated locations to deter offences that cause harm to land, wildlife and local residents. These patrols also provide reassurance and engagement with those who live and work in our countryside. 

As part of Op Elemental, officers have also been handing out rural crime signage to farmers and landowners, helping properties clearly show that we are working together to prevent and report rural crime. These signs act as both a deterrent and a strong reminder that rural communities and the police are protecting our countryside.

We continue to work closely with farmers, landowners and partner agencies to protect livelihoods and keep rural areas safe. If you see us out on patrol, please stop and have a chat, your information can help make a real difference.
